Change
*a third time i'm posting this. just because.
"Some people change when they see the light, others when they feel the heat."
-Caroline Schoeder
Change... it has a considerable impact on the human mind. To the fearful... it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful... it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident... it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.
Change... it is inevitable and unavoidable, but growth is intentional. As humans it's in our survival to change. Nothing is more of an enduring battle than the changes we go through. It happens everyday. Some people fear change and can't accept it. It makes those hanging onto something more difficult to let go and keep hoping for something that's already gone.
Change... it is one of those things you can only help yourself with, no one can do it for you. Some are ready for it and some are not. We cannot see the what kind of change is expecting us. We will never know what change is going to be. We never know what kind of unexpected opportunity awaits for us around the corner. The simple changes can alter our lives for as long as we are alive. We know what we are but we know not what we may be.
Change... it is a part of all of us. You, your family, friends, your job, the bar you go to Friday nights, your birthdays, the weather, lovers, haters, girlfriends, boyfriends, ex-girlfriends, ex-boyfriends, BFF's, marriages, cell phones, the 9/10 gallon gas prices, our leaders, followers, television shows, bus schedules, fashion, art, the way we love, eat, sleep, travel, relax, the way we comb our hair, your hobbies, our cars, bikes, the medicine we take, our way of staying beautiful, our way of deciding what is beautiful, religions, and the way we as individuals live our own lives apart from the person standing next to you on the bus. Change... embrace it.
